Acceptable use policy

These are rejected at moderation and are not negotiable. An account that submits them repeatedly is closed.

• Pay-to-work: any role requiring the candidate to buy training, certification, leads, software, a starter kit or equipment in order to be hired or to start earning.
• Multi-level marketing, network marketing, and any arrangement where income depends primarily on recruiting other people rather than selling to customers.
• Roles that require the candidate to pay a deposit, bond, or 'onboarding fee' of any kind.
• Listings with fabricated compensation, or which quote earnings that cannot plausibly be reached by the role described.
• Income guarantees, 'guaranteed $X per month' claims, or earnings representations presented as certainties.
• Roles that are not setter or closer positions. Fulfilment, admin and support roles are out of scope for this board.
• Listings for illegal products or services, or for anything requiring the candidate to mislead customers.
• Reshipping, money-mule, crypto 'recovery', and other listings matching known recruitment-fraud patterns.

• Misrepresenting your identity, your company, or your sales results.
• Posting a role you are not authorised to hire for.
• Harassing, threatening or discriminating against another user.
• Discriminating on the basis of any protected characteristic in a listing or a hiring decision.
• Asking candidates for bank details, card numbers, government identification or payment at any point in the application process.
• Contacting candidates for anything other than the role they applied to, including selling them coaching or courses.
• Scraping, bulk-downloading or reselling listings or candidate data.
• Attempting to bypass moderation, rate limits, or plan quotas.
• Uploading malware, or probing the platform for vulnerabilities without written permission.

You never have to pay to apply for a role on Remote Sales Jobs, and no legitimate employer on this board will ask you for money, card details or bank credentials in order to hire you. If someone does, stop, and send us the conversation.

Be sceptical of anyone moving the conversation off-platform immediately, refusing a video call, or promising specific earnings before they have seen you sell.

• Every listing, submitted or sourced from an external provider, is screened before publication and reviewed by a person.
• Reported listings are reviewed the same day and pulled while investigated.
• First breaches usually get a warning and a chance to fix the listing.
• Serious breaches such as pay-to-work, fraud, harassment or fabricated compensation mean immediate removal with no refund.
• Every moderation action is logged with a reason.
